Random: Rubber Painting

After going artsy yesterday and spending a whole day in the museums, I discover again something new during my “me time”. While I was walking along Plaza Singapura, I saw this small booth wherein kids can spend time doing art related stuff such as coloring and painting. Actually, I already knew about this since there’s also one in SM Megamall. I’ve been dying to try this ever since because it looks fun and different.

Procedure:

You will select a design for your artwork. A small one costs $6SGD and $10SGD for a bigger one. Since it’s my first time, I chose the smaller one. I chose Ultraman because it looks simple to me. haha Then, you will choose whether you like rubber paint or sand for your masterpiece. I chose the rubber paint since I’m curious with the small plastic bottles on top of the table.

After that, they will put the rubber outline in a metal tray. That’s where you will put the colors for your design.

Once you finished, they will put your work in an oven toaster so that the rubber paint will go dry. Then that’s it! You can keep it or give it as a souvenir.

Since I can’t remember the exact color of Ultraman, nanghula na lang ako. And na realize ko na nag mukhang boksingero si Ultraman with his red gloves. 🙂
