Last week, I met up with Reg, Roocie and Kath at Banapple Ayala Triangle in Makati. Out of the 4 or 5 restaurants/café I listed in my itinerary, ito lang ang na accomplish. This isn’t my first time here at Banapple, I’ve been to their Katipunan branch sometime ago with a friend. I’ve decided to include this in my itinerary because I suddenly recall the delicious pasta I ate there, nag crave lang ako sa mga moments na nag de daydream ako ng pagkain.
Anyway, Kath arrived first. As usual, she’s hyper and giddy upon seeing me. Then we waited for Reg and Roocie. Roocie was the last to arrived as she’s coming from Ortigas. Of course, just like our usual get together, di mawawala ang chika minute and tawanan. We were talking about my successful personal project, make-up and careers (as if naman oh). It’s nice to have supportive friends like them who knows my crazy adventures.
Kath and Roocie both ordered cakes for dessert. Reg ordered this huge tuna pie na di lang pampilya pang i-sports pa sa laki. And of course, since the project was already done – kanin attack!
After 2 years, I was able to ride the MRT again — and as usual, it’s horrible! I did realize that our MRT trains are smaller compared to the ones here in SG. And to complete the ultimate Pinas Homecoming experience, that was around 6:00-7:00 pm, the peak hours for commuters. Imagine, from Ayala to North Avenue station – nakatayo ako! Ang sikip sobra, sarsa na lang sardinas na.
