Food: Medzs

last sunday, bf and i had our first official date for the year. i miss my food buddy after a month of not seeing each other. lagi ko siya kinukulit na kakain kami sa masarap pag balik niya. 🙂 and so I brought him to medzs, a casual dining place at somerset. first time i’ve been there was with my colleagues few weeks ago. i always feel excited with these food discoveries, at least we can try something different for our next dates. i’m blessed to have lakwatsera and katakawan friends, kung saan saan kami umaabot ng kainan.

medzs is like marche in concept but offer mostly mediterranean cuisine – from spanish, turkish, french, greek, italian, moroccan, etc. upon entry, a card will be given which will be use to buy the food. we get a table first then we walk around and check the food at each stalls.

with wide choices of mediterranean cuisine

i ordered calzone, looks like a wrap but is actually a rolled pizza. meanwhile, boyfriend ordered his all-time favorite (prawn) aglio olio pasta. then we ordered a steak with mashed potatoes on the side, for our sharing. the steak was quite small, we’re somehow expecting for something bigger.

*chomp chomp*

this cool thing here (beeper-buzzer-alarm-whatchevers) rings up like a phone informing us that order is now ready to collect at the counter.

he was suggesting that we go back here for the valentines. i’m ok with it though i also like to try other places as well. para maiba naman.
