i may not be in the US to celebrate the thanksgiving day, i’m still very grateful for the many blessings that i receive everyday. god is good all the time, there’s no doubt about that. he answers our prayers in his own time — it can be a ‘no’, ‘yes but you have to wait’, ‘yes but i’ll give you something better’ and ‘yes, here’s more’. we may have our own plans in life but in the end, his plans will still prevail.
and how timely it can be? one of my prayers are now answered. i was looking for a new job as early as the 1st quarter and after months of personal interviews, phone calls and waiting…i finally got a job offer. not here, but there. somewhere in middle earth. 🙂
and so, i’m thankful…very thankful for this very good opportunity. a new beautiful country to start with, new environment, new places to explore, new experiences to try and new lessons to learn for the new year — new zealand! i’m very much excited for this new chapter of my life.
i can just imagine riding the tranzalpine railway looking at the snow-capped mountains, experience 4 seasons, wear winter clothes/scarf/boots for arte-arte since i can’t do it in a tropical country like sg/ph (kababawan), learning to drive a car and go on long road trips, skydiving, bungy jumping, mountain biking, visit a winery and any other things i need to tick off from my bucket list!
to someone up there who never gives up on me, thank you. 🙂
