time flies so fast! it’s already mid-march and i already celebrated my first monthsary here in new zealand. everything’s good so far and i guess, i already adjusted to the lifestyle here. i miss singapore a lot especially my friends and my happy-go-lucky lifestyle there (hahaha) but at least now, i get to complete my daily 8 hours of sleep and more time for myself to do my thing…weekly grocery, reading a book, strolling at the park, going to the library. now spell ‘relax’. 🙂
few weeks ago, i went to the riccarton market, a sunday outdoor market which is pretty much the same as our salcedo market in makati,ph. it is open rain or shine every sunday from 9am-2pm. this is south island’s largest outdoor market having 300++ stalls selling food, toys, plants, vegetables, books, clothes and many more. the place is not only good for shopping but also nice for weekend family day out who just wish to relax, listen to the music and eat good food with their loved ones. i went there for the food, obviously. :p
families enjoying a sunday picnic and listening to live music.
palm reading and tarot card booth is available for those who wish to know their destiny and soul mate. haha!
knits, sweaters and scarves from alpaca fibers made in south america. i love the texture of the material, very soft and will really make you warm during the cold days.
small plants good for indoor,
pillow pet for the fluffy friends,
wall frames for home decor,
fur, fur and lots of fur. i think even if i have the money, i won’t buy and support fur at all. i just saw a peta video of poor animals, some are fluffy hairy dogs that were skinned alive to death just for their beautiful hairy coats. i will never ever buy fur. period.
fruits and veggies,
and my most favorite, foods!
