I’m not aware of this picture being taken. Thank God and I was ready to pose during that time (nagmamaganda in short). hahaha!
Time flies so fast. I never did realize that it’s almost a month now since I arrived here in SG. So far, everything’s good. I miss my friends, my family and dogs back home, but I’m pretty much enjoying the single life and my independence here. God forbid that I won’t feel too homesick here.:)
Today and yesterday, I just stayed home and did nothing. Aside from cooking sinigang yesterday (satisfy my cravings!!), I watched some movies which I copied from Darwin. I was able to watched the movie 500 Days of Summer and The Boy in Striped Pyjamas, the former being a cute story about love (as against their disclaimer ‘It’s not a love story’) and the latter as historical drama film.
I like 500 Days of Summer. The story is cute, sweet and…bittersweet. The lead characters didn’t end up together but it’s ok since that’s what really the story is all about. A mushy must see movie on a lazy weekend. ♥♥♥ As for the drama The Boy in Striped Pyjamas, it’s a heart warming story between two friends during the Holocaust era. Slow movie yet heavy ending. The final scene is emotionally draining. I was able to narrate the movie to the book Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl which I have read before.
I’m planning to watch one movie per day during my stay here since I can’t think of any physical activities for now (good luck to my fats and love handles).
